The holidays are fast approaching and I will have a whole week off of work. This only means one thing: time to play in the kitchen!
I’m looking for a challenge, or a few since I’ll have more time to cook. What do you want me to cook? I need a “secret ingredient” or your favorite food.
I’ll be waiting for your input until Christmas, then choose and cook them over the break. Sounds fun, eh?
That photo is just too gorgeous!!!!
Here is your basket from me- lamb, brinjal (egg plant), and dark chocolate.
Are you going to make one meal, or three? haha.
Looking forward to it!!!
xx
Hmm… that’s quite the combo!
The picture took about half an hour of coaxing, repositioning, warding off the dog… I know I could eventually get a “perfect” photo of the kiddos, but it will probably be Easter by the time that happens!
Great photo! As for the recipe … what I consider a challenge could be a walk in the park for you 🙂 But, have you ever tried sweet potato pancakes? Good stuff!
Hmm.. I do love sweet potatoes. Do you mean latke style pancakes? That would be good, even for brunch with bacon and eggs 🙂
Say, what did you do with that buck you hunted?
Hey girl – my husband European mounted it, because he says I will get a bigger one in the future. Meat-wise, we take the loins and freeze them to eat, usually to marinate, and the burger part goes to Wanblee Indian Reservation for an beloved outreach org to use to feed people.
Oh that’s wonderful! My hubby has a new shotgun, but no deer yet 😉 We live in the city so we would have to go see his folks (5 hours away) to hunt anything, or do any decent fishing. Send me your marinade recipe 🙂
