My dear cousin June passed away last night. She was a wife, mother, and friend to many. June single-handedly researched our family history for the big 100 year aniversary of the farmstead in Alberta. She loved all of us.
Today I’m saddened by the news of her passing.
I should have called you, June, I had images of you in my heart this weekend. I knew something dreadful was coming, but had no idea it was going to land at your door.
Here is a poem I wrote when we’ve lost someone in our family.
Chef I am so sorry. Xx
Thanks bokkie

Thank you C, the hardest part about living a country apart from family is when we lose someone unexpectantly.
I am so sorry to hear of your cousin’s passing. My deepest condolences are with you and your family.
Thanks Heather
Thanks everyone for your notes. I was hesitant to drop this here but your comments always make me smile. Tomorrow is another day, this day shall too pass (that’s what my step-mom would be saying right now).
My next post won’t be so soggy, I promise 🙂
